Humor

This is one thing there is a LOT more of around this house since diagnosis. We laugh daily and often and sometimes enough to cry. I don't think any of us could make it through this without laughing at it sometimes. John cracks me up all day long with his new nicknames (one for when I am bald, one for hats, one for scarves - you get the picture), his impressions of several doctors we have NOT chosen , and just generally goofy things he comes up with to make me smile. Tonight we had a fashion show with the wig and apparently I was not the star. If you are feeling down just head on over to our place for a pick me up - it is a guarantee.

John looks like a surfer dude. At least what a Coloradoan thinks a surfer dude should look like. Now he just needs to perfect the male hair flip and he's good to go. You guys are 5 kinds of awesome. :-)

I have not blog surfed in a long time, and have been aimlessly jumping around today. Seems I was in a rut of limiting myself to the pool of friends I have had for years. I am so glad I did, because it really opens your eyes. Everyone has such a different experience in life, we all have things and battles to overcome. The one static condition in all people seems to find the positive.
It is wonderful you have such a good support group around you, and yes, laughing is more powerful than we ever realize.

Hello from Eric "Speedcat" in Minnesota :-)
